Over the last twenty years, Brian’s work has gained him two Primetime Emmy nominations for Producing and Cinematography, as well as numerous other awards. From his beginnings in scripted features like The Foot Fist Way to his work in non-scripted docs including Red Bull's The Horn, his continuing goal is to push the envelope through creative visual storytelling grounded in strong characters. Along his path, Brian has always held a key creative position as a director of photography, editor, and producer, which has been instrumental in shaping him as the executive producer he is today. Through the years his shows have received critical and ratings success while working with almost every major network and streaming platform. Some of the projects he’s helped build from the ground up include Alaska: The Last Frontier, Alone, Cooper’s Treasure, The Horn and most recently ABC’s Castaways. Brian is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking, and splits his time between Los Angeles and Wilmington, NC. He's also a rewards points enthusiast!
Scott graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts with a degree in cinematography. He has shot and produced documentary television shows for National Geographic, Red Bull, ABC, Discovery Channel and more. He is also a photographer whose commercial work includes posters for films shown at the Cannes, Sundance, and Berlin film festivals. His fine art photography has been shown in galleries across the country and is in private and corporate collections. He has been a guest lecturer at both the college and high school level, and recently completed an artist in residency program at the McColl Center for Art+Innovation. Scott is also a founder and creative lead for the non-profit organization ABOUT FACE.
Kim is an experienced producer with twelve years in the industry, having worked her way up in post production from an AP to a supervising producer and eventually as a co-executive producer. She’s worked with almost every major cable network as well as streaming and broadcast networks such as Netflix and ABC. She has a strong arts and design background and is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
Frank Gibson has served in production support roles for more than fifteen years. He's just as comfortable fixing formulas in a spreadsheet as he is changing a tire on a snowy alaskan roadside. A graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Frank began his career in the scripted world keeping indie films on budget and on-time and eventually got pulled into the non-scripted world where he's worked for more than a decade. Working his way through each production position and almost every type of show you could imagine has made him the efficient Line Producer he is today. He has worked with numerous networks including Discovery, History Channel, NatGeo, Animal Planet, and ABC. He took a brief hiatus in 2014 to be a stay at home dad and provide production support for the family!
Robbie has traveled the world developing and producing content in some 20 different countries. His recent development works include upcoming shows for Red Bull and Discovery Channel. He has experienced television from a project's creative infancy through the delivery process of post-production. With his enthusiasm for storytelling and diverse experience, he looks forward to continuing to create and expand on the Macho Grande Entertainment production slate.
